Classroom Expectations

Attendance

-  You are expected to attend class on time every period.

-  If you are not in class on a test/quiz/assignment day, then an excused note, phone call (from parent or guardian), or an email is required to allow you to take a makeup test/quiz/assignment when you return.

Be Prepared

- You are required to come to class with the lesson notes printed out. The lesson notes can be obtained on my blog site: https://mrsomath9.blogspot.ca/

- If you forget to print out the lesson notes, then you are required to take notes on a loose-leaf paper. Try to avoid this because the class is fast-paced, and you will not have time to write all the notes down.

Assignments

- Assignments are always due at the beginning of class.

- If you cannot finish the assignment by the due date, then it is your responsibility to contact the teacher before the due date. If it is a valid reason, then amendments can be made.

- Any assignments not handed in without a valid reason will result in a zero.

Other Expectations

-  You cannot use your cellphones during the lesson time. However, you can use it for educational use or listen to music during work time. If you use your cellphones for other reasons or during lesson time, then it will be taken away and given back at a general convenience.

-  Only one person is allowed outside the classroom. The person outside the classroom must have their name written on the whiteboard.

-  The last class must put their chairs up before they leave.

-  Class is not dismissed until the teacher says so.

Extra Help

-  If you need extra help, then you can book an appointment with Mr. So by either:
    1) emailing at chso@vsb.bc.ca
    2) finding me in room 310 or 309A
